FD228 – Travel Planning Goals are a Must

I was doing some travel planning and Miguel says “Man it looks like you have your whole trip planned out”.  Well I’m still working on it.  I find it good to have some travel planning goals in place before I go, but I don’t go crazy if I don’t get to do something.  It is much more fun to wing it, but it is good to have an initial list.

Some things are a must.  Like purchasing airline tickets and hotel rooms.  I will be staying at my own house, but I will need a hotel room in Dubai on my way back.

One of the first things I plan on doing on my Orlando Vacation is to see Mary Poppins.  I luv luv luv going to Broadway shows when I can catch them.  It is going to be a girls night with my mom, my children’s grandmother, my daughter and I.  It is almost like a tradition for us.  I created that monster and I like it.

All signed up for Disney 1/2 marathon.  Can’t wait.  I have to do a packet pickup 2 days before and then it is on.  I anticipate that day to be memorable and fun.

Lakeridge Winery

Gonna get me some wine and see a live band at the local winery.  You can’t go wrong when it comes to wine.

Gonna take my children to the Orlando Science Center.  That is a fun place for grownups and kids.

Gotta go to the movies.  I actually don’t know what is showing, but I plan on going as much as I can.

Gotta get my Chinese visa for my summer time trip.  Working on that one.  I really want to go to China.  I have to do this while I’m in the states.

Still need to make a doctors and dentist appointment.  I can’t come back to Afghanistan without seeing the dentist.

And I think Last but not least I need to get some new running shoes and have some blog meet ups.

I think it is going to be an exciting vacation.  I think I can say that travel planning is a good thing and is definitely in order for this trip.
