FD246 – Where in the World is Lizzy? & Civilization V

Civilization V
Contemplating Blogging.

Let’s see…where to begin.  I thought I would write a short post today, since I haven’t posted anything in about two weeks.  I just haven’t been in the mood, I don’t know why.  I have just been working by day and gaming by night with Miguel.  I have been missing yall though.  :)

Civilization V
I love civilization games.

We started playing the cool civilization game (which by the way is called Civilization V).  It is highly addictive and super time consuming, but incredibly fun.  The only time we have to play is after work, but we limit ourselves to only a couple of hours.  That way, we don’t loose too much beauty sleep.  I don’t need any beauty sleep, but Miguel does.  :)

Civilization V was actually the brain child of Sid Meyers.  I remember the first computer game that I played and was addicted to.  It was called Covert Action and it was made by……you guessed it Sid Meyers.  I love his work.

The premise of the game is basically to start a civilization, find ways for you people to thrive and kill the other guys if they step on your turf.  Who wouldn’t want to play a game like that.

Civilization V
That’s my crazy gaming family.

The game has some great graphics and like I said it is incredibly addictive.  I love all types of games.  I am a huge fan of board games also.  When I am home my house is the game house.  We play cards, board games, WII, you name it.

Even as a children, my brothers and I would spend most of our days off playing board games.  Those were the good ole days.  :) It is seriously a lot of fun.  I miss those crazy game nights and of course I miss my family.

Well I have to finish sweeping my floor and it is time to crash.  Maybe tomorrow I can get my writing back on track.

Miguel & Mr Fruit Man

I will blame Miguel for my none blogging. :)  That’s my story and I’m sticking to it. We are the oldest kids in history.
