I haven’t done a Wednesday Rewind in awhile. I also haven’t been blogging as much as I use to. That’s because I have allocated my time differently. That sounds so organized doesn’t it. Well, not really. The bottom line is I just don’t have time for blogging as much because I am working out a lot more.
That is always a good thing. You know last year this time, I was really not blogging that much at all. I was thinking about it, but not really. The same holds true for my fitness. I was thinking about exercise but there was nothing going on in the movement area of my life.
Have you ever just watched a workout video and maybe had a snack while you watched. 🙁 I ain’t ashamed to say I have, but I should be. That is kind of how things were going in Feb 2011. I was still finding my way here in Afghanistan on my then new job.
Anyway I had a draft of a post this time last year, surprisingly. It was a pretty crappy draft to the LizForADay standards. I suppose that is why it didn’t make the cut. I don’t think I would have subscribed to my blog either if I read that. Any who the title was “Never Let Um See You Sweat”.
It is actually not about fitness, but women in the workplace. I don’t want to talk about that. When referring to sweat, it is much more fun to talk about my workouts. So instead of tell you what I didn’t do, which I already done, I will tell you about my current workouts.
I’m still on fire. I think I have been successful so far because I have been varying what I do. They say variety is the spice of life. I have a really good mix of cardio, XT (Cross Training), Yoga & Weights. With my way of thinking, I really can’t lose. If I miss a workout, I am not going to beat myself up. I actually feel stronger.
Stay tuned on Friday, because I will be sharing my workouts on Fridays from now on. I also found a virtual race, but that is a whole nother post. So stay tuned for that one.
Well that’s the end of my look back to nothingness. I was not doing anything interesting this time last year. I was probably eating though. 🙂
